Good, sun fading on spine and front cover, light foxing on fore edge, front hinge just starting.    First English edition after a NY edition published in 1929.   Illustrated with 50 black and white photographs by the author.

Villiers, born in Australia, was an adventurer, photographer, mariner and the author of 44 books.   Falmouth for Orders describes a race around the world between two clipper ships in 1927 from Melbourne around Cape Horn to Falmouth, England where they received orders to proceed back to Melbourne.
